YesterYear: Space Ghost

spaceghost-group.jpg Space ghost is a famous show which was created by Hanna-Barbera and company. The cartoon was hosted by the widely known channel for children, the Cartoon Network. Space ghost became very popular in a fairly short period of time. It is full of action which is of course very entertaining for kids. Space Ghost made its debut in 1966. The show ran for a two year time span, from 1966 to 1968. Later as technologies in the field of comics creation increased, new segments and different skills were introduced which enhanced the show. These enhancements increased the shows popularity with younger viewers at the time. Due to the success of the show, there were other new segments like Space Stars, and Space Spectro.

Recommended Reading: The Watchmen

The Watchmen is a comic series initially published by the famous DC Comics. It was a monthly limited series and only twelve issues were realized. This particular comic book was started in the year 1986 and it continued to hit book store shelves till 1987, but this was only for the succeeding year. Originally it came as a monthly limited series and later after the book gained popularity it was republished as a trade paperback, which popularized it as a graphic novel. The term “graphic novel” means a type of comic book which has a long and complicated storyline similar to that of a novel, which is mostly for mature readers.
